The Elegant Eclectic was born from a truly special moment - my daughter’s wedding. As I poured my heart into creating a beautiful and unique tablescape for her special day, I never imagined it would become the foundation of a business.


After the wedding, photos shared by the venue sparked an unexpected response. Brides began asking how they could achieve a similar look for their own celebrations, and what started as a labor of love soon grew into a passion for helping others bring their event visions to life. 


Today I have the privilege of helping couples and families create beautiful, meaningful gatherings filled with the details that make each event uniquely their own.  

 

Honestly, looking back, as a Mother-of-the-Bride, I would have LOVED to have had an option like this!


We spent six months curating pieces for the wedding and still found ourselves calling on friends to help track down last-minute items just days before the big day because there simply weren't enough hours left to do it ourselves. Every piece had to be washed, packed, transported, unpacked, styled, repacked, hauled home, washed again, and somehow stored afterward!!  And then what nobody tells you is that once you've collected all the pretty things, you suddenly need an entire collection of not-so-pretty things too - totes, crates, glass racks, packing supplies, and storage space to keep it all and to actually be able to transport it safely and efficiently (trust me, boxes aren't it!) My basement was slowly disappearing beneath stacks of dishes, décor, and linens. What was my sane (obviously insane!) brain thinking?!


Of course, once the wedding was over, friends and family, who should have been relaxing and enjoying the celebration still, were instead helping gather dishes, washing them, packing them, all of it! Not at all what I had wanted for them to do. And if I hadn't been approached with the rental idea afterward, I probably would have spent months trying to resell everything, hoping to recoup a fraction of what we'd invested.


That experience showed me just how much time, effort, and stress goes into creating a beautiful event. Today, I combine that experience, along with my history in interior design, antiques, organization, and event styling to help couples and families avoid all of that work while still creating the picture-perfect celebration they've envisioned.


My goal is simple:  provide beautiful, thoughtfully curated rentals and event support services that allow you to focus on making memories while I help bring your vision to life.
